As a child of the 70s and 80s, Pop Culture - especially Star Wars - had a huge influence on my work.

Melting Pots are based on historical pottery pieces from various cultures from around the world.  The texture glaze effects were achieved by multiple firings with slips, underglazes, crawl, and blister glazes in cone 10 reduction firings.
